Walk4ROCKwas an awesome example of one man daring to step outside his comfort zone to make a difference. It was an extraordinary act of love for the hurting in Africa. Randy Zachary's challenge to us all to do something, to "run to the battle," will continue to inspire and challenge us all. We are grateful for his "daring to do the impossible" out of love for kids in Africa. Randy is indeed a BIG man! Thank you, Randy!

A Big MAN -- a Big WALK -- a
Big CAUSE
Randy Zachary is a Northern California radio
personality who is preparing to do something extraordinary to bring food and
medicine to
famine ravaged Africa. Is leading a walk for 40-days throughout
California.
Randy was a very overweight radio guy that suddenly saw the excess food he had
enjoyed for a lifetime, in the light of a region of the world that was literally
starving to death. Randy decided he would trade his excess weight for food for
Africa with a 40-day walk throughout sections of California, and then personally
travel to feed the hungry. He is calling his effort "Walk4ROCK -- 40 Days of
Purpose for Africa."
When he decided to take on this challenge his weight was approaching 400-lbs.
Randy boldly declared, "I'll trade my blubber for food for kids in Africa."
Now through training for the event and counsel of personal trainer to NFL
athletes, Marcus Santi (of Memphis, TN) Randy is already shedding pounds
quickly. By sharing his decision (and his passion) with radio listeners the
event has already challenged many people to step out of their comfort zone and
make a difference.
Randy is inviting you to join him between September 10 – October19 for any portion of the walk, to step out of your comfort zone and save the lives of people facing desperate odds. Join Randy to trade your excess pounds to save lives in Africa!
Team Leaders leaders are needed. Team Leaders organize volunteers from their, church, club, organization or circle of friends and can earn discounted travel to Africa to participate in ROCK of Africa Relief Outreaches.
